Prepaid Wallet

TurboCX wallet is being used to deduct the TurboCX charge. However, Meta will deduct the Meta's charges from the credit card that you have added to your WABA Account.

What does a prepaid wallet mean for TurboCX customers?

We have enabled a wallet on your account where you can top up a certain amount for sending campaigns as well as replying to customers.

What makes this relevant is that we will reserve an estimate of these charges upfront before setting up campaigns and showing actual deductions based on Meta’s inputs after the completion of the broadcast. The balance will get adjusted into your wallet after 30-45 minutes to reflect the actual amount left.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Before sending any campaign you will be shown an estimate of the costs associated and you would be required to maintain that balance in your wallet in order to send the campaign.
  2. You would also need to maintain a minimum balance required to engage in 1-1 conversations with your customers.
  3. If you are using ongoing campaigns, you will need to ensure you maintain sufficient balances in your wallet for these to continue working seamlessly.
  4. Free conversations per month, will be applicable at a WABA level and not phone number, just like how Meta reports it. [Note: Starting June 1st, 2023, as per Meta’s new conversation-based pricing changes, business-initiated conversations will no longer be included in the free tier. However, you will continue to receive 1,000 free user-initiated conversations per month (the 1000 free conversations will be at a WABA level)] .
  5. All conversation counts and charges would be adjusted against how Meta reports them at the end of each day.
  6. We will send reminders and display alerts on the platform on low wallet balances .
  7. Balances in your wallet are nonrefundable.
